A Planned Lakeside Community
It was immediately obvious to me that the photos that Charlie Brock sent as entries into the Photo Contest were more than snapshots. They were works of art that portray the passion that he has for photography and Eagle Landing. Take a look for yourself.....

Eagle Landing Lake (Simpson Lake) is a private lake for the use and enjoyment of Eagle Landing property owners and their accompanied guests. Lake usage, speed limits and fishing rules are posted at the common boat launch. All lake users and boaters are expected to comply with Texas boating regulations and courtesies as well.
Eagle Landing recycles monofilament fishing line to help our wildlife. If you need to dispose of line, please place it in the recycle bin located near the ramp at our dam.
All residents are invited to participate in Community Dinners and activities that are held several times a year. Dinners are hosted by residents and are potluck. Previous events have included 4th of July events, Trivia Night, Octoberfest, Chili Cookoff, Mardi Gras, movie nights, Fishing tournaments, Christmas parties, etc. Many other impromptu events happen frequently.
Adopt-A-Highway - Many Eagle Landing residents participate in the National Adopt-A-Highway Program. Homeowner volunteers turn out in great numbers to help keep our community clean. Out of 4500 other groups, the Eagle Landing program was judged to be best Adopt-A-Highway program in the whole state of Texas in 2013!
Texas Ramp Project - This group of dedicated individuals builds freedom for the homebound in the form of ramps for the mobility impaired to help them out of the house and into their communities.
This is one more way our resident volunteers serve our surrounding areas......Volunteers are welcome!
Photo Gallery - Residents of Eagle Landing are proud of the idyllic settings that surround them. From the spectacular sunsets of the summer, the dogwoods and wildflowers of spring, the occasional winter snowfall - the scenery of the lake is constantly changing. Wildlife is ever-present and easily visible. Evidence of these natural, park-like settings are shown here in the Photo Gallery - all captured by residents of Eagle Landing.
