Meeting was called to order at 5:05 pm. In attendance were board members Frank Galloway, Tom Minor, Jim Higgins, Jim Trimble and Jan Kenyan; Absent - Glenn Terry and George Meriwether. There were 2 visitors present.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as revised. Motion was made by Tom Minor and seconded by Jim Higgins; motion carried.

A motion was made by Tom Minor and seconded by Jan Kenyan to accept the treasurer report: motion carried.

Architectural Committee: No Report

Fire Wise and Neighborhood Watch:
There is one sign remaining to be installed.

A representative from the Texas Forest Service is interested in doing an article highlighting ELHA. This article would bring national recognition to Eagle Landing and Avinger.

The Avinger Fire Department can get decals for construction of a new Smokey Sign. Jan Kenyan to follow up.

Old Business:
The board is still making contact with the county commissioner concerning road repairs. Jan Kenyan stated that road repairs have begun. Tom Minor will follow up with the commissioner as to progress.

Lawsuit: Motion to compel hearing set for March 19, 2010.

There has been no contact from the Mims Water Corporation.

New Business:
The ELHA Annual Meeting will be held May 1, 2010 at the Avinger School Cafeteria. There are three board members up for re-election. All three have agreed to run again and there is one additional candidate as well. Ballots will be in the mail soon.

Jan Kenyan made a presentation to the Board on Avinger becoming a Film Friendly Community.
