Lake Use Regulations & Amendments
Effective January 1, 2002

Action
The Eagle Landing Lake Board of Directors finds it prudent to refine the current lake use regulations in order to preserve the recreational and aesthetic qualities of the lake for the Eagle Landing Lake landowner. These regulations are to be amended to the current regulations.

Amended Regulations

1. No watercraft are permitted on the lake other than those vessels owned by an Eagle Landing Lake landowner. (*1)

2. All watercraft (*2) used on the lake must display a current Eagle Landing Lake landowner sticker on the right forward area of the hull.

3. A landowner or immediate family member (3*) must be present in a watercraft on the lake if it is a motorized vessel or if it is engaged in fishing activity.

4. Vehicles that are engaged in boat launching must display a current Eagle Landing Lake landowner sticker.

5. No jet powered watercraft (*4) are permitted.

6. No airboats are permitted.

7. No seaplane or amphibious aircraft operations are permitted.

Explanations and Definitions

*1 - No watercraft belonging to friends or relatives (including immediate family members) are permitted.

*2 - Watercraft: includes but is not limited to canoes, pirogues, paddleboats, windsurfers and sailboats. This category does not include inner tubes, swimming platforms and personal flotation devices.

*3 - Immediate family member is specifically defined as: Spouse, son, daughter, parent, grandchild, son-in-law and daughter-in-law.

*4 - Jet powered watercraft: includes any hydro-jet powered craft such as Jet Ski or jet powered ski boat.

Adherence to lake-use regulations will retain the admirable qualities of our lake for all landowners. Remember to advise immediate family members of powerboat speed restrictions and fishing regulations when they use the lake.
