Saturday, May 6, 2006, there was an annual Eagle Landing
Homeowners Association meeting. This meeting was held
at the Avinger School. Board members in attendance were
Trent Gale, Glenn Terry, and Kristy Carter. Absent Board
members were Frank Galloway and Bob Kenyan. Also present
were 50 land owners and guest.
Trent
Gale called the meeting to order at 1:10 p.m.
Trent
Gale gave an annual report of accomplishments from the
past year.

Work has been done to improve the appearance of Eagle
Landing, including putting a new sign at the entrance
of Eagle Landing and the corner of 155 and 161.
- Work
has been in place to help control the weed problem.
This is a continuous work in progress; if you need weeds
sprayed in your area of the lake please contact Glenn
Terry.

Gravel and rock were placed at the back boat launch.
- “No
Fishing” signs were put up at the island bridge.

A new dumpster was added and the area was cleaned.

A new ISO rating for the Avinger Volunteer Fire Department
and for Eagle Landing has been acquired.

DLS is now available in Eagle Landing.
Annual Treasurer Report, along with committee reports
were presented.
Van
Templeton reported on the Avinger Volunteer Fire Department.
Votes
for the new board of director were announced. Board members
to fill the three vacant spots for the next two year term
are: Frank Galloway, Bob Kenyan, and Glenn Terry. Thanks
to those which gave their time to serve on the voting
committee.
A
motion was made to adjourn by Glenn Terry and seconded
by Kristy Carter.
