| There
was a regularly scheduled board meeting of the Board of
Directors for Eagle Landing Homeowners Association on
Tuesday, January 18, 2005. Board members in attendance
included; Van Templeton, Frank Galloway, Colleen Elles,
Trent Gale, Bob Lannerd, Glenn Terry, and Kristy Carter.
There were 30 plus property owners and 6 Encana Oil Company
representatives, 2 Railroad Commission representatives,
and a representative from Champion EMS, were in attendance.
The
meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m., by Van Templeton.
The
fact of the prospective oil wells began the discussion.
Representatives from Encana told the facts of the wells
being drilled and the plans that they had in place. There
was also a discussion about the safety needs and requirements
and how they are being met. The Railroad Commission explained
about the approval of these wells. Questions were answered
and concerns were addressed for the property owners.
Brent
Smith, Director of Operations with Champion EMS, brought
information about subscribing to the membership services
for Champion EMS. The cost for the year of subscription
is $48.00 a year per household. This covers ambulance
cost if you ever have to use one. There is not an enrollment
period, so you can sign up at any time. There will be
applications at each board meeting or you can contact:
Brent Smith at (903) 291-2504.
The
