Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

October 7, 2006

On Saturday, October 7, 2006 there was a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors at the hanger of Frank Galloway.  Board members in attendance were Trent Gale, Bob Kenyan, Glenn Terry, Frank Galloway and Kristy Carter.  There were 15 guests in attendance.

Trent Gale called the meeting to order at 8:30 p.m.

Old Business:

None

New Business:

Marsha Bryan made a request for a variance to extend her dock fifteen feet.  A motion was made by Glen to grant Ms. Bryan a variance to extend her dock the fifteen feet she requested. Bob seconded this motion and all were in favor. 

A special meeting is set for January 27 to discuss the community building, along with having a seven or nine member board.  The community building will be to have meetings and to house a fire truck.

Community News:

The fishing tournament and chili cook-off that was held on this day was a big success. There were 46 in attendance.

The next scheduled board meeting will be at the Avinger school on November 7, 2006, at 6:00.

A motion was made by Glenn Terry and seconded by Bob Kenyan to adjourn; motion carried.
