New Eagle Landing Blog rolling out March 2010

A new interactive blog will be forthcoming in March 2010. It will contain timely information for our residents, and relevant local information including human interest topics. You will be able to leave questions and comments, but the blog will be monitored by our webmaster so no offensive or resident privacy violations will be allowed. There will be polls and questions because the board wants your input. For topic suggestions, community dinner hosting anncouncements, research you want us to perform, or anything of an urgent non-security nature please call Jan Kenyan 903-562-1549. For security and emergency matters call either Frank Galloway (or our current board president) or 911. Eagle Landing Stickers / Boat Stickers

Both the Eagle Landing auto windshield stickers, and boat stickers are available anytime by contacting Debbie Dennis, CPA, at

903-639-7016, or via email at: ddennis@valornet.com. Normally, at the end of the year you will receive a notice along with your homeowner dues invoice asking you how many boat stickers you need for the new year. You can request both stickers then, or anytime you have a need for replacement or new stickers.

It is requested that all residents have rear windshield stickers on each car, and all water craft. We have ongoing issues with non-residents dumping their trash into our private dumpsters, and using our lake for fishing and recreational purposes. Security

measures have been increased because of residential and hanger break ins. If you do not have a sticker on your auto, you are

subject to "pull-over" and questioning by our security personnel.

There is free sandy loam(white) dirt available from dredging the spillway recently. It is available for pickup at Frank Galloway's hanger, but contact him first at 903-562-1773. Do not pickup any red dirt at the same location because it belongs to an individual. Also, there is free, (green) oak firewood at the same location.Again, contact Frank before removing.

Mowing Bids Accepted

We are accepting bids for mowing the dam on an "as needed" basis. We are also accepting bids for mowing, and general care

Notice About Dogs to Homeowners

Please be a responsible pet owner and confine your animals to your property. We have received complaints about loose and barking dogs. If your animals injures someone you may be held liable. We appreciate your cooperation towards a safer community for all of us.

Website Advertising

Our website is for resident use only. No form of business or rental advertising will be accepted except Eagle Landing Real Estate "For Sale" or Eagle Landing homes extended lease listings.

Lake Using Reminder

The board reminds boat users to adhere to the lake usage rules listed in:  Eagle Landing - Lake Bylaws - Article 11

a. No water skiing or jet skis will be permitted at any time upon the LAKE.

b. Boats shall not be driven al a speed in excess of 10 M.P.H. upon the LAKE.

c. No dumping of any materials is permitted into the LAKE.

d. No stationary rafts shall be permitted on the LAKE unless approved by the ARCHITECTURAL COMMITTEE.

e. No trotlines shall be permitted on the LAKE and no netting or commercial fishing shall be allowed.

f. No boats shall be launched from a trailer except from boat launching areas located on the
COMMON AREAS.
